Parent Volunteers
NEW VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES FOR 24-25

To ensure the safety of staff and students, the San Marcos School District has created a uniform volunteer clearance policy that must be completed by everyone who plans to volunteer this year. The policy is located on the district webpage Here is a Volunteers Home webpage. The process involves a thorough registration/application process, so please take the time to complete the forms and required documents prior to October 1, 2024.

Our PTO hosts several events throughout the year from fundraisers to activities for our students. These events would not be possible without volunteers. Please email seesptopresident@gmail.com to volunteer.

Every classroom at SEES has a room parent. Room parents coordinate classroom celebrations, classroom baskets for fundraisers and serve as a liaison with parents and teachers. Contact your child's teacher if you are interested in being a room parent.

Traffic Volunteers are needed at SEES to keep our students safe during drop-off and pick times of the school day. Our traffic volunteers assist students out of cars, help our traffic move quickly and man our crosswalks. Please email Mr. Pope at gary.pope@smusd.org if you can support our traffic team.
